The Ultimate Sliding Sash Accoya Window
 
This traditional sliding sash window has been developed to replicate, in as much detail as possible, the larger sash windows, common in Victorian and Georgian style homes. The large opening windows of this period can be considerably heavy and require large counterbalance weights and substantial frame sections. To house the weights the box construction is thicker giving an overall front to back size of 165mm (6 1/2''). The 56mm (2 1/4'') deep sashes enable the use of 24mm double glazing, while still having a decorative ovolo moulding inside. The 24mm Low-E, Argon Filled Double Glazing gives an excellent thermal barrier with a U-Value of approximately 1.2W/m²k. Our most thermally efficient sliding sash window.
